Real Estate
Property transactions built on verified land title, not assumptions.

Overview
Real estate in Cameroon turns on land tenure. Private land title is evidenced by the certificat foncier and the land register established under the 1974 land ordinances (Ordinance No. 74/1 of 6 July 1974), and the distinction between private and national land shapes what can actually be bought, mortgaged and developed. Title defects are the single most common way otherwise sound property deals fail. ALPs conducts title diligence, structures acquisitions and leases, documents development arrangements, and secures OHADA mortgages over registered property for lenders.
